Community Infrastructure
Improved infrastructure, without doubt, is the key to enhancing the livelihood of communities. With this belief in mind, CMIC has implemented various projects:

  • Road infrastructure :Roads in communities around the plant used to be in a very poor condition, so even before the Touk Meas Plant was up and running, CMIC repaired and, in some cases, rebuilt roads. This has allowed people in the surrounding villages to enjoy an improved transportation network for businesses and schools.
  • Cement contribution to pagodas and public institutions :Hundreds of tons of cement have been contributed to state institutions and pagodas to improve infrastructure. These state institutions include health centres, schools, commune and district offices.
